Terms of Use

Tomodatti provides written walking guides to places in Tokyo: routes, spots, photos, and commentary from local guides. It is a guide, not a booking service. We do not reserve, sell tickets for, or otherwise arrange anything at the places described.

Courses are sold individually as one-time purchases. Buying a course unlocks all of its spots for you permanently — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Prices are set per region by the App Store and are shown in the app in your local currency. All payments are processed by Apple under Apple’s terms.

You can restore purchases you have already made from the Profile screen, or from the purchase sheet, at no cost.

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, under Apple’s refund policy. We cannot issue refunds directly. Requests go through Apple’s support.

The guides describe walking in a real city. You are responsible for your own safety: follow traffic rules, respect the places you visit, and use your own judgment about weather, opening hours, and conditions on the ground.

Opening hours, prices, and the existence of the places described can change without notice. We make no guarantee that any place described is open, accessible, or unchanged.

The text, photographs, and other material in Tomodatti belong to us or are used with permission. Buying a course grants you personal access to read it in the app; it does not transfer ownership or allow redistribution.

We may add, change, or retire courses. If a course you have bought is retired, your purchase record is kept — retiring content does not remove what you have paid for from your account.

We may update these terms. The effective date above changes when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about it and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
